Sometimes life can get busy! That's why we introduced Service Requests, so that you can tell us what services you need and we go find them for you.
But even though we do the work, you still have an important part to play. After all, what's the NDIS without a whole lot of choice and control? If you ask us, not much.
In this post, we're going to share our top tips to ensure you still exercise your choice and control when submitting a Service Request. It's your comprehensive guide to Service Requests.

Submit a Service Request

The first thing you need to do is... well, submit a service request! Our easy-to-use Service Request feature means that you tell us what you need and we connect you with up to three providers that suit your criteria.

[Clickability update, September 2026: The original number describes the process at publication. The current request and response may differ; a match does not guarantee the provider can meet every need. Use the current Clickability service.]

When you're submitting a request, we'll ask you a few questions to ensure we connect you with appropriate providers. Some of these questions include:
  • How do you manage your NDIS funds? If it's Agency-managed, we only match you with NDIS registered providers.
  • Where do you need these services? We'll also ask if appropriate whether you're open to accessing Telehealth.
  • Do you have any specific needs? This might include an organisation with staff who speak a language other than English.
  • How do you want to be contacted? If you'd rather a phone call, text, or email, please let us know and we'll pass this onto the provider.
Submit the Service Request and we'll then look for the right providers for you.
If you would like any assistance in submitting a request, you can also book a time with Tyla! She can help you with the process.

[Clickability update, September 2026: This named booking option is historical. Use the current Clickability contact or request flow to check what help is available; the old booking link does not confirm a particular staff member is currently available.]

What to expect?

After submitting a Service Request, you'll likely be contacted by providers within 48 hours. It's what we ask them to do, so that you're not kept waiting. Who wants to wait!?

[Clickability update, September 2026: This was the response expectation described in 2024, not a guaranteed current response time. Provider replies depend on the request and availability. Confirm timing through the current service rather than relying on this historical target.]

This means that you should check your phone for calls or texts from unknown numbers or your spam inbox for emails from the provider. Be ready.
We understand you might be wary of unknown numbers, so feel free to ask the providers how they got your details, to ensure peace of mind. We'll also let you know who we've connected you with.

Choosing a Provider

At Clickability, we're also big into reviews. In case you hadn't noticed, it's sort of our thing! When we connect you with up to three providers, we encourage you to check out their reviews. They can help you find your perfect provider.
Reviews are an invaluable resource, as they can inform you as to whether a provider is a good fit. Best yet, the reviews have been written by people who actually use those services.
As well as reading reviews, you could also write some questions to ask the providers as they call you. These could include:
  • What's your experience within the NDIS?
  • What are your rates?
  • What will the Service Agreement include?
It's important that you're comfortable with the provider, so ask the questions that matter to you. Our personal favourite: If you were a kitchen appliance, what would you be? It makes them think!

Starting with a Provider

Once you've chosen your perfect provider, we then take a step back. We don't charge you a thing or ask anything further, except maybe a review of the provider in the not too distant future...
If you choose a provider, we ask you let the other providers know. You can contact them however you wish, but it lets them get back to helping other participants. Otherwise they'll never know!
But that's a Service Request completed, from start to finish. It's almost too easy. We hope you can use the saved time to get back to the important things.

Summary

  • Submit a Service Request
  • Wait for providers to contact you
  • Answer your calls or respond to emails/texts
  • Read those providers' reviews
  • Ask them questions that matter to you
  • Choose the right provider for you
  • As a courtesy, let the others know.

What participants should put in a request to make replies more useful

Name the service, location and practical access needs that matter to you. Explain your preferred way to be contacted and any times you cannot answer. Share the information needed to discuss the service, then review the current form’s privacy and contact explanation before submitting.

When a provider replies, confirm the actual service, worker or clinician, price and availability. Read reviews to prepare questions, and keep the choice yours rather than treating a suggested provider as a required one.

How families can help with replies while protecting the participant’s choice

Agree who may receive calls and what information can be shared. Keep replies in one place and help the participant compare the answers against their own priorities.

Ask who contacted you and how they received the request if a call is unexpected. Do not send further sensitive information until you are comfortable with the identity and purpose of the conversation.

Questions readers ask

Does submitting a request commit me to a provider?

The request begins a conversation. Review the actual service and agreement before deciding whether to engage a provider.

Are three matches and a reply within 48 hours guaranteed?

No. Those are historical process descriptions, not verified current guarantees.

Tell Clickability what support you want to find

Describe your service, location and contact preferences in the matching flow. Compare provider profiles, ratings and reviews before deciding who suits your needs.
