Love on the Spectrum is looking for participants for Series 2 on ABC TV! Producers are looking for single people who are on the autism spectrum – as well as anyone open to dating someone on the spectrum.
They would also like to tell the stories of those already in relationships, so put your skates on if you also want to tell the story of how you met your partner.
To submit your interest, simply email lots@northernpictures.com.au with a brief description of yourself and a photo.
If you want to rewatch the first season, iView has got you covered.

[Clickability update, October 2026:

This describes a historical app project. For current official resources, NDIA booklets and factsheets include material for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants and information about interpreting services. Check the date and accessibility of any app resource.

Disability in the Bush

Ninti One and the Interplay Project have developed an app to help people in remote communities find easily accessible NDIS info in languages other than English.
Funded by NDIA, ‘Disability in the Bush‘ was developed in consultation with five different Northern Territory remote communities.
Two Australian Indigenous languages, Arrernte and Pitjantjatjara, are featured!
Check out the app today – or this story on its development.

It might even be going live next week (psst… it definitely is), so keep an eye out for it. Just jump back here and you’ll be able to check out our fresh new look!

Clickability editorial update: October 2026

Choose language and privacy arrangements that work for you

Ask for information in a form you understand and tell the service whether you want an interpreter, a trusted supporter or both. A translated resource may help start a conversation but cannot confirm eligibility or funding for an individual. Decide what you want to share publicly; appearing on television is optional.

Ask about language rather than assuming it

Confirm the person’s preferred language and communication, arrange appropriate assistance and allow time for questions. Do not assume a family member should interpret sensitive information or that one resource represents every community. Check understanding without making the person responsible for correcting your service’s inaccessible communication. Rights standards guide respect for culture, communication and choice.
